Hosted by China Society for Human Rights Studies，and organized by the Law School and Research Center for Human Rights of Renmin University of China，Seminar on “Rule of Law in China and Human Rights”was held on Nov. 14，2014 in Suzhou. Over 40 scholars made discussions on the topics like “Rule of Law and Human Rights Protection”，“Judicial Guarantee on Human Rights”，“Human Rights Development and State Governance”，“Chinese Characteristic Human Rights Theories and Discourse System Construction”. They reached a consensus in the discussion that human rights protection is closely related with the construction of rule of law，which should always take human rights protection as the core. Fully protecting human rights is the inner demand and a crucial task of comprehensively promoting Rule of Law.
